FOUNDERS & OWNERS

CHAOTIC BUSINESS OPERATIONS

Something not flowing right in your business? Maybe it’s a bottom-line problem, but maybe it’s a YOU problem. Things aren’t running smoothly, you’re more stressed than you should be, and you want a better structure to operate from. Sometimes that shows up as part of a classic owner trap: either you’re stuck working on the business instead of doing the actual craft you love, or you’re simply buried working in the day-to-day grind and want to free yourself up to be able to work on the business. Regardless of the cause, if something’s not working, I’ll help you clean it up and unlock a level of freedom you didn’t know was possible in your business.

INDIVIDUALS

Complex LIFE TRANSITIONS

Whether it’s a sudden life transition or just a straight hardship, it can feel impossible to see the forest through the trees. When you’re stuck in it, you can’t even figure out what your next step should be. You might not know what resources are needed, or that any even exist for what you’re facing. Because we assume therapy is the only choice for personal setups, we miss the fact that individuals can use a consultant just like a business does. Therapy has its place, but it isn’t going to solve a complicated situation like this—you need real, tactical, logistical help. If you’re feeling the overwhelm, let me take it off your plate and handle it for you.

About Me

THIS IS THE PART WHERE I TELL YOU HOW AN ENGINEER ENDED UP TAKING THE HEAVY STUFF OFF PEOPLE’S PLATES.

I didn’t start out as a consultant. I started in aerospace, engineering aircraft systems where one missed detail had real consequences — the kind of work where you don’t get to be approximately right. Then came 15 years in real estate investing, where the money and the people never separated. Solve one without the other, and the deal falls apart anyway — which is exactly why I ended up building a business teaching investors how to navigate one of the most intimidating industries out there without losing their nerve. Different rooms, same skill, every time: take something too complicated for someone to handle alone, and make it usable.

Now I do that for businesses and lives that have gone sideways. I work both sides of it — the logistics, and the emotions that get in the way of moving through them. Most people ignore that second part. I don’t. That’s what actually makes a fix hold up: not just solving the problem on paper, but solving it in a way the person living it can actually carry forward. I’ve done this for founders drowning in their own success, for people navigating a life upended overnight, for businesses bleeding money nobody could explain. Different problem every time, same result: when something complicated gets made usable again, people get their agency back.

What have I done?

My intention with every project is to completely lift the challenge off of the person’s shoulders—whether that means giving them a reorganized structure that simply allows them to get the results they want, or stepping directly into the trenches with them to pull them through a massive mess and out onto the other side. Check out some of the ways I’ve done that.

Wondering if you should work with me?

Navigating situations that have gone completely sideways isn’t something most of us are equipped to handle—and when everything drops on your plate at once, good luck. It’s incredibly easy to watch things crumble under the weight of competing components and next to no clear direction. Without someone to step into the middle of the noise to build order, it’s no wonder people end up overwhelmed, stuck, or completely paralyzed.

Working with me makes sense if you’re facing scenarios like these:

Problem

The owner was drowning in the day-to-day operations. Every day was chaos and nothing was running efficiently. He had employees that were causing more strain than helping. He had recently hired a marketing director who set up a pay system for agents that was causing the owner to lose money on every property sold. The owner’s health was suffering and clients were progressively getting more disappointed in the properties being sold and the ommunications with the office.

The company needed a full makeover — profit structure, communication processes, employee behavior, and most importantly, the owner needed things taken off his plate so he could stop spending long days fighting off distractions that were causing an inability to maintain a high quality in his product. In addition, there was going to be assistance with opening up new client lead channels and ensuring proper lead channel and client follow-up.

The engagement began with a detailed pre-visit planning call to identify the owner’s goals, the biggest issues, and the various factors at play. From that call, a comprehensive task list was created to make the most of two full days spent onsite at the company’s office. The onsite work included a deep dive into the company’s systems, employee roles and responsibilities, pay structures, day-to-day operations, client communication, and other areas tied to the owner’s stated concerns. Employees were also spoken with separately from the owner to help uncover additional issues and needs. Immediate pain points were addressed with proposed solutions while onsite, and the remaining findings were evaluated over the following days and turned into a detailed report with recommendations around structure, systems, employee organization, profitability, and other areas tied to the owner’s original goals.

A detailed report that gave the company a working plan to tighten up the business from the inside out: who was doing what, how people were paid, how deals were handled, and where profit was getting diluted. It utlined the immediate changes needed to reset commissions, clarify roles, strengthen the office manager/client experience function, and start documenting the systems and training that would support the company’s next stage of growth. It also broke the work into phases so there was a clear order of operations instead of trying to fix everything at once.

Along with the main recommendations, the report included a client qualification tool, an office manager/client relations job description, and final guidance geared toward helping the company actually implement the changes.
